  • Beautiful vacation home for winter or summer!

My family and I just spent two weeks in this very cozy home. Tastefully furnished, kitchen is well equipped, from Nespresso machine to electric tea kettle, fridge with freezer, dishwasher and enough glasses, plates and cutlery for a larger family. Washing machine and dryer came in handy. Bathroom is brand new with underfloor heating which kept it perfectly warm, nice robes and towels. Beds were comfy and an added bonus was the perfectly working Wifi. Frau Baldauf, who lives next door, was always available for any questions . House is in close proximity to a lovely bakery, restaurants and the beautiful lake. No car needed. Thank you to the owner, Dr. Alexander Eltz and his family, for sharing this beautiful and historic property. We will definitely be back.

  • Peaceful and very enjoyable

We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful house on the hill. Although it was 350 years old, it had the modern conveniences. We cooked our own breakfasts but ate out otherwise. We like to sit on the covered porch when it was lightly raining or sunshine and watch deer cross through the apple orchard with two sets of mountains on either side of the Traun valley of Bad Groisen. Good restaurants within short drives and great towns to visit: St. Wolfgang, Bad Ischl, Hallstadt, Bad Groisen and Werfen.
