Luxurious, well-managed home in Central Guanajuato location near all things, and with all amenities!

                            5 of 5
We just experienced 20 nights in this wonderful home and hope to return soon! The Casa is impeccably clean and is in a perfect location. It is filled with love, art, music, and life. It is safe, secure, and convenient for walking everywhere within Guanajuato. We were able to cook incredible meals due to the well-furnished and fabulous kitchen stocked with spices, appliances, and everything we needed. The plates, glasses, bowls, pitchers and serving dishes are all local Mexican art objects, and are fabulous! The pans are those you'd find in a chef's kitchen. The Juarez Market has all food you might need and is a short walk away (fun to go there to buy veggies, milk, cheese, bread, ice cream, fruits, etc.). The water filtration system in the kitchen was amazing - we always had safe water to drink. The roof deck on this house is splendid (you can see so many cool things from it - including the market, the university, the colorful houses on the hills, the statue of Pipila, the many historic churches of Guanajuato, sunrises, and sunsets. We chose to do our own laundry, hand washing our clothes with the mountain air drying them quickly! We did yoga every day on the roof deck. There are very comfortable adirondack chairs and stools up there, and a nice bench! The house has wonderfully appointed with 2 bedrooms, comfortable sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets. There are many space heaters for those cooler mornings (not needed while we were there). There is exquisite art throughout - simply beautiful! The owner is extremely nice and helpful - very responsive and caring. The property manager, Nancy, is incredibly responsible and has a cellphone and land line. Every question we had (and there were few due to the helpful booklet of instructions and reference info left for us). We felt very safe and very taken care of. The home always has plenty of hot water for washing dishes and also for showering. There were absolutely no issues with anything in the home (the dumb waiter was temporarily inoperable, but was not needed). Guanajuato is filled with activity and music and ambient sounds during the day and night, including occasional fireworks, lots of performers in the streets until around 10 or so in the night, birds whistling, and dogs barking at all hours. Expect to experience this when here - it's part of the charm and it's what we miss the most! !Viva Mexico!
