  • Lovely, peaceful home in San Francisco

I loved this house! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The area is very quiet but very close to Church St and 24th shops, restaurants, grocery/market and transit line. It's just a few blocks from Delores Park and Mission Delores. Close to Castro, Mission, and Haight, but the house is in Noe Valley. We walked after dark to the market without fear, using reasonable precautions. I don't believe that the pictures do justice to the house. It's surrounded by lovely homes and apartments too. For those who worry about owner occupied rentals: The owner lives downstairs from what I understand, but I never saw her/him-- we visited during a wildfire that shrouded the city in smoke, the owner left some face masks for us to wear on the streets (a wonderful gesture and MUCH appreciated) and texted me to tell me, then later in the week texted me one other time to ask if there was a box delivered. The rental is a perfect mix of vintage and updated, we cooked and used the washer/dryer and everything works perfectly. There is free street parking, just read the signs for limits, on Delores St and meters on 24th.

Great Vistas, great place. Just a half mile walk to downtown Tiburon, the yacht harbor and the ferries. Spaceous dining area easy for all of us to eat together. The kitchen came complete with everything we BBQ'ed downstairs one night. When the deck got a little chilly the kitchen was a comfortable gathering spot as well with the window seats looking out of the large window onto the bay. Visit Angel island, a 10 minute ferry ride that leaves hourly, allow a few hours to explore. There is a tram that goes around the island, also great for hiking or biking, they also rent segways to ride around the island you could make a day of it.
