  • Central location very roomy.

We were lucky to find such a great apartment the day before we arrived in Zagreb. Our other accommodation was cancelled on us by owner only 24 hours before we were arriving. Katarina answered our enquiries immediately, gave us the address and all her contact details and also a lovely welcome package. The apartment had all the rooms we needed for a family of 6 and many more. The layout of the apartment was interesting as all bedrooms connected but it still worked for us. The kitchen and living area was perfect for a family Christmas and the Christmas tree set up for us was another thoughtful touch. Thank you Katarina for making our stay in Zagreb so wonderful. Would love to return one day.

  • Wonderful clean apartment in the heart of Zagreb

Barbara & Yann's apartment was a wonderful clean apartment in the heart of Zagreb. The decor was stylish and artful, the bed was super comfortable, and the small kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater the first night we arrived after a very long day of travel. Barbara was responsive to my questions and accommodating. We arrived in Zagreb before check-in and Barbara and her mom let us leave our luggage so we could immediately begin exploring the beautiful city. On our first night we had an issue with key getting stuck in the lock, but Barbara immediately responded via the VRBO app and arranged to have a locksmith come and fix the door. There is parking that may be possible in the inner courtyard, but I wouldn't recommend it or depend on it. We opted to not have a car during our stay in Zagreb, which in retrospect was a good decision. Most of the sights are easily accessible via foot and it is lovely city for walking and strolling at any time of the day. The one ways, lack of parking options overall and construction made leaving Zagreb via car a bit of a challenge. Make sure you plan to visit the capital city if you decide to travel to Croatia. It lends a different vibe from the more touristy cities of Split and Dubrovnik!
