  • Special spot in Tuscany

Really nice place with comfortable beds, plenty of living space and a pool. Host was great and lives upstairs. Great little quiet country road for walking, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. Pure Tuscany! 20 minute walk to town and some good restaurants.

  • A Tuscan Dream!

Four of us stayed at La Torre for 2 weeks, in October 2018. That it was a bit off the beaten track, was welcome indeed, after the bustle of Venice. Returning each day from touring in and a round the area of Florence was a treat. Set in about 10 acres of countryside, it was a peaceful and relaxing spot to unwind at the end of the day. The Casalta kitchen was very well equipped, with all the conveniences. There was lots of space for each couple to have some alone time, including several dining areas (+ one outside) to come together for meals. Two bedrooms, 1 at each end of the house, each with its own bath, allowed for privacy when wanted! The early risers didn't bother the sleeper-iners!! We also enjoyed the ability to do washings; the weather cooperated fully for drying clothes on the line or drying racks. All in all, it was a delightful and memorable holiday for our family...thank you for having us!
