Mylor Bridge: all the barn homes

  • An enjoyable stay at Park an Bounder
    4 of 5

We spent a most enjoyable time in the very spacious Parc an Bounder. The barn conversion has been done to a high standard with tasteful decoration, and a good degree of luxury. As everything was new it was very special. We know the area well, so we were able to enjoy some of our favourite walks and visit places we know. We found the bed very hard and unforgiving, but our friends were blissfully comfortable. Maybe a mattress topper would be a useful option to have available. The fridge is very small for a family of four for a week. A tall upright fridge would be a very suitable addition.

  • Lovely cottage, good location.
    4 of 5

A lovely little cottage for two in a peaceful area close to lots of lovely beaches and seaside towns. The cottage was clean and cosy with adequate parking. The hot tub was lovely although it is a shame that you do not get much of a view and they could do with putting an outside light at that end of the cottage and/or some twinkly fairy lights as it is difficult to see out there in the evening. Good fitted kitchen with quality appliances. The bedroom is small but adequate. Unfortunately the mattress was very uncomfortable as it was very springy so you get a lot of movement when the other person moves around. The rest of the cottage is so well furnished it is a shame that the mattress is not of the same quality. The garden is enclosed but it is not so great if you have a small dog as the fence at one end has very big gaps that a terrier can walk through out to the road. We had to watch our dog at all times when he was out there. The cottage is right next to the coastal path and you can easily walk down to the village to visit the local pub. We very much enjoyed our short break at Manor arvor and would happily go back again.
