  • Great townhome for family of 6
    5 of 5

My family had a wonderful time staying at this townhouse. It was clean, well lit on the first floor, and comfortable beds that my children, my wife, and I fell asleep quickly and comfortably on. Every room has a TV with Netflix as well as the townhouse having a strong wifi throughout the home. My kids loved the long counter and had breakfast there every morning. Plenty of dishware and small appliances to make breakfast before a big day to Disney World was undertaken. Claudia also was a very accessible host and made sure to be available for any questions or feedback we had during the trip. We really didn't need to ask much as she had emailed ahead of time how to get into the home and instructions are provided on signs posted in the house about various things like the thermostat, patio door, wi-fi code, etc. The pool at the house is accomodating for small children, and was comfortable for all of them to play in but yes it is a bit on the smaller side. The good news is The Oasis Club located near the townhouse was also very comfortable and reasonable pricing for the food/drinks which is served near the large pool, lazy river pool, and splash pad area. It was also not difficult at all to get to Disney World every day and by the end of the week I only needed to fill up the minivan gas tank once so not far at all. In addition, the Championsgate area where the community is located is nice as well and had a great brunch at First Watch which kids enjoyed. One thing to note is the community itself is gated so you will have to show at the guard house your vehicle sheet, it does have a QR code to scan at the guard house if you want to pass through the faster lane not next to the guard house however it was hit or miss for us if the code actually would scan. The only thing that was a bit strange was the master bedroom shower, pulling up on the handle for the bathtub was hit or miss whether the full shower would be on or if the water would continue to pour from the spout into the bathtub. Not a big inconvenience but just had to remember to pull up firmly so water would go through shower head not bath tub spout. Also the shower curtain in the master bathroom is too high, and didn't touch the tub so water could leak out, thankfully it didn't really do that with us. I recommend the shower curtain rod be lowered or a longer shower curtain be put in.
