  • Beautiful water view in a quiet neighborhood
    4 of 5

This property is in an excellent location. It's a short walk to the downtown area, the water and only 2 blocks from the Saturday Farmer's Market and a nice grocery store. The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic. The apartment was very clean with some nice amenities (coffee & half & Half in the refrigerator), a great bathtub (with epson salts & foaming gel supplied) and a comfortable bed. The view from the bedroom is expansive and really wonderful. The pots and pans in the kitchen could use some upgrading, but they worked OK for our purposes. The only real negative was that the internet was very slow and, subsequently the TV cable did not work very well. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

  • Revisiting past memories of Ocean Shores
    5 of 5

Ocean Shores was just beginning to be developed when I was a teenager in the early 1960's. My parents and I would visit some friends of theirs who had a beach house in Westport and purchased property in Ocean Shores. I have always wanted to get back there to see how it has changed. The condo building is in a great location in Ocean Shores, central to everything and fronting the beach. The unit is well appointed and has a great view of the ocean from the third floor. It was quiet while we stayed there and the owner was easy to work with. We had a great time and would stay there again if we decide to visit Ocean Shores in the future.
