This apt. is so clean. There was the added perks of having lots of coffee pods, tea, sugars, and most importantly creamer (yes, the liquid kind! ), even olive oil packets, and laundry soap! It's so conveniently located to bus stops and the public transit here is very easy and cheap to use. There are lots of good restaurants that serve delicious food within a couple blocks. It's also far enough from the French quarter that you don't have to hear all the commotion and smell the smells that waft from that area, though it is within walking distance. The balcony was a beautiful place to have coffee in the morning and get together with friends for wine and cheese in the evening. The only drawback was the shower which we had a hard time regulating the water temperatures. Although this seemed so minor with all the perks of the place. Thanks Domio for making check in and out so easy!
The condo is very nice, modern, spacious and well laid out but not without a few minor issues, the freezer did not freeze, the shower did not get hot enough for us and the rooftop has no seating. It's in a great location, close to restaurants and plenty of activities (French Quarter, St. Charles st. and Convention Center). Parking will be a problem, as free parking is sparse and parking in a lot can run as high as $40/night. You can take your chances parking on the street in front of the building and not getting towed. Unfortunately I got towed because I allegedly parked too close to a stop sign (no street markings anywhere) just know that less than 20 ft is too close. But that's New Orleans for you, they make judgement calls and it's up to you the visitor not to give them the opportunity to tow your car. Overall we had an excellent stay and a wonderful experience visiting New Orleans and if I ever return, I would definitely choose to stay here.
