  • Private location yet close to everything

This house worked perfectly for us as some of us were day hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail and others were along to tour Vermont and enjoy the historical towns and restaurants. It is close enough to town you can hop in and visit the awesome bookstore or grab a meal and yet very quiet as the house is back off of the road a bit. There is a beautifully clear pond that attracted a blue heron at times and made of a good place to sit by the water. Great paved parking for at least 4 cars. Bedrooms are plenty big and everyone was able to spread out and not disturb others late at night when watching tv in the family room. Nice kitchen and dining area large enough to feed everyone and yet stay out of each other's way. We enjoyed our stay and think others will too.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our extended family and baby. There is tons of space and everything you need- a well provisioned kitchen, grill, washer/dryer four of five bedrooms have their own bath. There is a nice porch over looking the pond and great access to outdoor activities and restaurants in Manchester and Dorset. The owners are wonderful and incredibly responsive. Great stay!
