We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quincy La Casa. Great beds, well stocked kitchen and wonderful outside porch for relaxing.

Quirky retro apartment near the beach and public transportation. They tell you there is no parking and they are not kidding. Because of that information we explored getting around on public transportation and ride sharing and found that the bus is quite extensive and easy to use if you access a scheduling app. Ride sharing is great and for us was less expensive than renting a car and parking in a public lot would have been. The layout of the apartment is unusual as the entry lets into the bedroom and the living room is through a side door and opens into the dining room. For four people there is little privacy because of this for two people it was just fine. There is a wall heater and a free standing cooling device. We found the temperature was great with just the windows open however, with the windows open there was street noise much of the time. There are disposable ear plugs in a drawer in the bedroom if it bothers you too much. The owner was very responsive to my questions. I would have appreciated another light weight bed sized blanket for the temperatures we were experiencing we got by by using the two throw blankets in the apartment. It was nice having a kitchen with a dishwasher, stove and fridge. Bring an extension cord for plugging in your phone and the stove. You really are just a block from the beach and a Von's grocery store, restaurants and the pier. I felt safe in the area. If you are looking for a good value near Long Beach this is the place for you.
