  • Fabulous Firenze!!!
    5 of 5

Silvia and Guido were the most accomodating hosts we've ever had! Silvia graciously responded to emails and shared her wealth of knowledge of her beautiful city! Guido was there to meet us early and allowed us to drop off our bags so that we could get started on exploring Firenze. The apartment is exactly as described and pictured! It reminded me of tiny houses I've seen on HGTV in that all space was creatively put to use and despite being small it didn't feel cramped at all. It was great to have the internet/tv combo and Guido was so easy to reach when we forgot how to switch back and forth, they have a landline with their number programmed in and he quickly helped us. The bed was very comfortable and the small couch turned into a twin bed for our daughter and she loved it! I loved the fact there was a tub. After almost 2 weeks walking around Italy and carry a bag w/ 3 water bottles I really needed a relaxing soak! We didn't have much time in Firenze and are eager to get back. The apartment is in a great location and we crossed over into the city using 3 of the bridges and found one of our most favorite gelaterias at the base of Ponte alla Carraia, called Gelaterie La Carraia. We will definitely be back to Firenze some day and hope to stay at Silvia and Guido's again!!! Grazie Mille Silvia and Guido!

  • Great place to stay
    4 of 5

A very comfortable place with all basic needs provided for. Spacious and air conditioned. Excellent location. There are 72 stairs to climb up in a very narrow stairwell which is important to be aware of when carrying luggage up or down, as well as going back to the apartment for any reason in the day. There is no elevator.
