  • Practical, comfortable and well located

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights, and the overall impression was really nice. The owner was very helpful, and we really apreciated it. The apartment is small -as indicated-, but you have in there everything you need for a short stay. It was clean, and all worked as it is supposed to (doors, shower, hot water, heating system, fridge, etc.). The sofa-bed was ok, clean sheets and towels. Furthermore, the area is full of restaurants, and you have two near metro stations (Cadet L7 and Grands Boulevards L8, L9). To sum up, we had a very nice experience and we would absolutely repeat. Thank you!

  • Wonderful 5 Night Stay at Rue de Trevise Apartment, Faubourg-Montmartre, Paris

My stay was from 15 Nov, 2018 to 20 Nov, 2018. I took the RER B from CDG to Gare du Nord, then Metro one stop on Line 5 to Gare de l'Est, then transfer onto Line 7 for 2 stops to Cadet. It's a 5 minute walk from Cadet to the apartment. The owner wasn't available to meet me upon my arrival but she made arrangements for her trustworthy helper Isabel to do so. Isabel provided me a set of keys and gave me an orientation of the apartment. You gain entry from the street either by access code or conventional key. After gaining entry from the street, you're in a mailbox vestibule/foyer, you then use a key fob to open a glass door to reach the stairwell and elevator. The small lift will take you to the 5th floor apartment. I typically took the elevator up when arriving and then used the steps to walk down whenever I exited. The apartment has everything you need and is quite charming. Small, efficient, kitchen. Comfortable living/dining room. Very comfortable bedroom. Lovely, modern shower/bathtub with sink. The toilet is in a separate compact, compartment/room a few feet down the hallway. This was a small inconvenience that didn't pose any problem at all for me. Clothes washing machine is in the kitchen and you use a rack for drying the clothes. The apartment has beautiful old hardwood floors. Some of the floorboards flex and squeak a little. I walked around in my socks and tried to avoid the squeaky spots. The apartment has its quirks, but I considered it all to be part of the charm of an old Paris apartment. Public transportation is convenient; I typically used the Grands Boulevards stop or Cadet to take either Metro or Bus. I did my grocery shopping at Carrefour City, about 3 blocks away at 9 Rue de Faubourg-Montmartre. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the accommodations to other travelers.
