  • lovely seaside house in pleasant village
    5 of 5

We stayed for 3 nights. Kingsand is a pleasant little seaside community. Nestled right along the seawall is Storm Cottage. It is well furnished and stocked. Our family of 5 enjoyed everything about it. We had stunning weather without a drop of rain, so we got all the more stunning views, sunsets, and seaside enjoyment during our stay. The cottage is spacious, and easy to find, although driving in the village on its narrow streets was a bit of a challenge for our larger car. On site parking was great. My family of 5 felt totally at home here. Each day we went out and about after cooking our own breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. Lovely sea breezes kept us cool each evening after we returned from our day trips, including taking the quaint little Cawsand ferry to Plymouth. The local corner shop is well stocked and very reasonably priced for picking up essential food items, a bottle of wine, or treats for the kids. We enjoyed cornish ice cream from a shop just up the street, and evening meals in the nearby Halfway House Inn. Dawn, the property owner, was a pleasure to work with. She is very attentive and helpful. We look forward to staying in this cottage again on a future holiday in Cornwall.
