Listing on HomeAway doesn't mean you have to give up your property management software. While we offer all the tools you need, some prefer to use other software. Good news — most software can be integrated with HomeAway, so you can list on our sites from your software.

HomeAway's Property Management Software Partner Program continually builds connections to commercial software providers and individual property management systems that allow you to link the properties, information, rates, and calendars that you manage in your software directly with our network.

Getting Started

  1. Pre-Activation
    • The Onboarding Team receives the activation request from your HomeAway Account Manager.
    • Your Onboarding Representative will reach out to you to review the process. They will email you with documentation about your connection and the ID mapping spreadsheet.
  2. ID Mapping
    • You will match your external IDs (the property IDs in your software) to your existing or new subscription HomeAway/VRBO IDs.
    • You send the mapping spreadsheet to your Onboarding Representative.
    • Your Onboarding Representative will upload the IDs into our system.
  3. Enabling Listings
    • You enable your listings for distribution to HomeAway or VRBO in your software.
    • Your Onboarding Representative activates your connection with the Integration Team and will let you know that everything is live.
  4. Activation
    • Your listings will be live. Your Onboarding Representative will review your listings with you.
    • You will receive a satisfaction survey to provide feedback about the activation process.
If your Property Management Software is not already integrated, ask the company to contact us at PM.Partner@homeaway.com and we will work with them to build a new integration.
