HomeAway Ranked #2 Tech Employer in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas, October 30, 2017 – HomeAway® has been ranked the second most attractive tech company in Austin, according to a new international survey.

Job company Hired surveyed more than 2,300 tech workers in Austin and around the world, asking respondents to rate their interest in working for top tech brands in markets such as Austin, Boston, London, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Singapore. HomeAway had the second most buzz of all major Austin tech brands, beating out companies such as Dell, RetailMeNot, Spredfast and WP Engine. Other top scorers in cities around the world included Google (San Francisco), Hulu (Los Angeles), SpaceX (Los Angeles), Squarespace (New York), Tesla (San Francisco) and Zillow (Seattle).

HomeAway was one of the few travel brands to be highlighted in the report, alongside companies like Lyft and Skyscanner, and was the only vacation rental brand to appear in the rankings. Full results can be found in Hired’s 2017 Global Brand Health Report.
