HomeAway Launches ReservationManager to Simplify Vacation Rental Booking Process
for Owners and Enable Guests to Pay Online
AUSTIN, TX, June 2, 2011 – HomeAway , Inc. – the world’s leading network of online vacation rentals – today announced the launch of ReservationManager™. The new product streamlines the booking process for U.S. residents who advertise their property on HomeAway.com by making it easier to respond to inquiries, generate quotes and rental agreements, and accept online payments from guests.
Through ReservationManager, HomeAway.com customers have access to 2.5 percent Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card processing and 1.0 percent eCheck processing, and there is no set-up, monthly or fixed transaction fees.
ReservationManager is designed to improve upon each step of the reservation process including:
- Inquiries – utilize customizable email templates and stay organized with a record of all sent communications
- Quotes – enter standard rental fees and taxes once and save it for future quotes; quotes are then automatically populated in rental agreements and payment requests
- Online Rental Agreement – owners may upload their own rental agreements and guests must agree to the terms of the contract online before making payment; cancellation refund policies may be customized
- Payments – 2.5 percent Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, and 1.0 percent eCheck processing makes accepting online payments affordable; funds are deposited into an owner’s account within three business days
