Build and manage your HomeAway listings from your own software. The system syncs automatically so everything you do there is reflected on HomeAway too.
You can “activate” HomeAway as a channel partner in your property management software. This connection allows you to distribute your listing data directly from your software to the HomeAway network (including VRBO). Every time you add a new listing or update an existing one, the new content is automatically passed from your software to HomeAway. This results in better quality listings because content like rates and availability are up to date.
When you activate your connection, the following information will update automatically on your HomeAway listing: descriptions, amenities, photos, availability, bedroom and bathroom data, rate, and rates notes. Reviews and Contacts do not currently update.

Once your software connection is activated, you must manage all of your listing data within your software. This simplifies the management of your listings in one location. If you were to update information directly in the HomeAway dashboard, that information would be overridden by the data stored in your software nightly.
The exception is for reviews since those are not updated. If you need to manually enter a guest review, you will still do that through the HomeAway Dashboard.
Continue to use your HomeAway dashboard to follow the status of your listings, your subscription levels, and other distribution options in the HomeAway network.
Once your software connection is activated, listing data is sent to HomeAway at least once a day.

If you use professional property management software, you can use online booking through your own merchant of record. You handle all financial transactions and all guest communications. Travel dates, guest data and credit card information is securely passed to your software. Simply confirm the reservation in your software and process the credit card payment, just like you do today for reservations made through your website.
To qualify, you must be able to accept credit cards and be PCI/PA-DSS compliant. All listings must meet HomeAway’s minimum content requirements. 90% of your inventory must be listed in a combination of Pay-Per-Booking or Subscriptions. You agree to integrate 100% of your inventory. You must be able to pay commissions (billed after the guest has stayed) by credit card.
Property managers need to have a minimum of 5 listings to be eligible to activate the integration between their software and HomeAway.
