Many of the condos and beach houses have pools, ocean views, and balconies and will be just a short trip from the Clearwater beach or other local beaches such as St. Petersburg.


Clearwater Marine Museum

No visit to Clearwater would be complete without paying a visit to the marine animals who call the area home. The best place to do so is the Clearwater Marine Museum. Winter the Dolphin, star of Dolphin Tail and Dolphin Tail 2, calls this place home, and the staff works to protect marine animals such as dolphins, sea turtles, and the aquarium raises money to support their mission.

The Dali Museum

The St. Petersburg Salvador Dali Museum houses the largest collection of Salvador Dali works outside of Spain, and it is just a short trip away from the beaches on the western side of the peninsula. Clearwater Beach

The Ybor City district in Downtown Tampa has a vibrant, colorful nightlife year-round and a distinctive Spanish-American flavor to its architecture, music and dance scene. More locally, Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater brings in outdoor venues, live music and other entertainment options which you can check out during your stay.


Clearwater’s average highs from December through March are in the mid to upper 70s and climb into the 80s or 90s during the summer months. The most popular times to visit are from January through March and again from September through November when the days are at their sunniest and the humidity drops from the summertime peak.

Getting Around

The best way to get around the Clearwater area is by car. The St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport and the Tampa International Airport have rental cars available on-site, which you can drive to your destination.

If you prefer buses, Greyhound has a station in Clearwater, and from there you can use the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority buses to reach your destination. Also, you can take the Jolley Trolley to downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, and other local communities such as Palm Harbor.

Taxis and Limos are another option for private transport to and from your destination. The Jialda Limousine service offers VIP transportation coverage across the Tampa Bay and Clearwater area, and can pick you up at the airport or wherever you may be. There are also several taxi companies in the area that you can call for a ride.

Looking for things to do while you’re in Clearwater? Local attractions include Congo River Golf - Clearwater, Celebration Station and Tampa Bay Grand Prix. Visitors searching for nearby cultural experiences can spend an enlightening afternoon at Salvador Dali Museum, Great Explorations Children's Museum or Museum of Fine Arts. To appreciate the outdoor scene, make time for beaches like Sunset Beach and Anclote River Park and green spaces such as Sand Key Park and Pier 60 Park.
