With a prime location on the coast of the southern United States, Biloxi has a subtropical climate that is mostly characterized by warm days, comfortable nights and high levels of humidity from coastal breezes. Between May and September, average highs range from the 80s to the 90s, and some days in the height of summer exceed the century mark. Winters are mild with average high between December and February in the 60s. The rainiest period is over the summer months, which coincides with the peak of hurricane season. How to Get There

Many who travel to Mississippi will do so by traveling by car along Interstate 10. The town is located approximately equidistant between New Orleans and Mobile, making it convenient to reach by roads. However, there is not a major airport nearby, and the closest large airport is located in New Orleans or Mobile. The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport has domestic and international flights on a small scale basis.
