Wilson Lake has four Marinas – at Emerald Beach, Marina Mar, Rollison Marina and Steenson Hollow Marina – and no less than 7 boat ramps. The lake is popular for shore fishing and with boat anglers, especially for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and catfish. This is also good golfing country; there are 2 lakeside golf courses with scenic vistas over Wilson Lake and more nearby. On the west side of the lake, near the Wilson Dam, two small public parks offer more family-friendly activities. Veterans Park has a war memorial, disc golf course and sports fields. With a history dating back to 1935, this family-friendly community event features agricultural and cultural exhibits, rides, thrills and local food stall vendors
