Weather in North West Florida

The North West coastline of Florida has a humid subtropical climate marked with four distinct seasons. How to Get There

The North West region of Florida is easily accessed by car from Interstate 10, which runs east and west through the region. It cuts through the northern area of Tallahassee and eventually ends in Jacksonville. U.S. Route 331 crosses the I-10 and runs south through Freeport, providing access to Miramar Beach, Destin, and the neighboring coastal communities.

The most popular means for entering the region for national and international travelers are the Pensacola and Tallahassee International Airports. Rental cars, Greyhound, and Megabus lines are available for inter-city travel.
