Navarre Beach has quickly become one of the most coveted vacation spots in the Florida Panhandle, and there is good reason for this. The area is known for its sugary white sand beaches and crystal clear water, and numerous attractions designed especially for tourists have cropped up as well. You will be in the perfect location for enjoying all that the area offers travelers like you when you stay in your Navarre Beach condo. Many condos have beautiful beach views from a balcony or patio, and many are located right on the coast so that you can enjoy easy access to the beach whenever you want to take a dip in the ocean or work on your tan.
If you choose a beachfront Navarre Beach condo, you will benefit from having the beach right at your back door. However, there are also numerous other access points that you can enjoy free of charge. For example, the beach at the Navarre Beach Park & Pier has restrooms as well as parking for 125 cars. In addition, you can head down the road a short distance to enjoy swimming at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Miramar Beach, Grayton Beach, Deer Lake State Park and more. Many of these park areas have additional amenities as well as hiking trails and more for you to enjoy as well.
The main draw when you stay in your condo in Navarre Beach is the beach, but you may want to mix things up a bit from day to day to enjoy different activities in conjunction with your time at the beach. One idea is to head to the Gulfarium Adventure Park to see sea lions, dolphins and more in educational and entertaining exhibits and shows. The Barefoot Pirates Treasure Quest is a fun, role-playing adventure park that kids love. There are also numerous activities to enjoy that range from dolphin tours and pub crawls to Segway tours, hot air balloon rides, helicopter rides and more.
A trip to Navarre Beach would not be complete without sampling local cuisine, including freshly caught seafood and southern delicacies. There are several popular dining options that feature this type of cuisine as well as other international options. Some of the more popular restaurants in Navarre Beach include Creekside Southern Grill Seafood Restaurant & Steakhouse, TC's Front Porch, Hachi Grill, Cactus Flower Cafe, East Bay Crab House, Alphy's Catfish House and several others.
Similar to the rest of the Florida Panhandle, the Navarre Beach area has a humid subtropical climate that is ideal for enjoying time at the beach. A humid subtropical climate has rather short and mild winters as well as long, warm summers. Average high temperatures in Navarre Beach range from 60 in the winter to almost 90 in the summer. Average rainfall is approximately 65 inches per year, and the peak wet season occurs between June and October.
Before you can spend time in Navarre Beach, you have to reach the area, and the primary methods of transportation are via air, car or boat. There are several private marinas located in and around the area that provide you with access to dock your vessel, and you can often reserve these spots ahead of your arrival. Some will fly into the Pensacola International Airport and will travel eastward along Highway 98 to reach Navarre Beach in a rental car. If you are driving your own car into the area, keep in mind that Interstate 10 connects to Highway 87, which leads you directly into Navarre Beach.
