Ice fishing is popular on the smaller inland lakes of the Sister Lakes region during the wintertime. If you'd like to see another one of the Great Lakes, Lake Huron, you could drive across the state and stay at cottages in Port Huron after a day doing the Blue Water River Walk. The Blue Water River Walk takes you on a tour of the Black River where it flows into Lake Huron near the Blue Water Bridge to Canada.
