Peak season in this popular Croatian beach resort is, of course, the summer when temperatures can reach a balmy 80-90 degrees. There's very little rain between June and September, and blue skies and endless sunshine dominate, making it the perfect time to visit. It's also when Baska Voda vacation rentals are at a premium. At the foot of the range, near the village of Kotisina, is a charming botanical garden which boasts sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea.
