How to Get There

There are several methods available for reaching Mammoth Lakes. Many will fly into the major airports in Sacramento or San Francisco, and they will rent a car to travel the rest of the way. Amtrak trains also run into the San Francisco and wine country areas, and rental cars available from that point on. You can connect to Highway 395 in eastern California. Then, turn west onto Route 203 to reach the city and ski resort. There are no major connecting interstate highways, so you will need to take a series of smaller connecting roads and highways to reach Highway 395.
