You also have a museum in Blue Mountain Lake, which is about 90 minutes away. This second museum is all about the Adirondacks, the history, and geology of the area. An hour from Cranberry Lake are Lake Placid and Saranac Lake for a bit of a different scenic adventure for your vacation.
