New England History on the Beach
In Southern Delaware, you will find Rehoboth Beach neatly nestled in between the coast’s beach towns. There is plenty to do beyond the beach. Check out the Nanticoke Indian Museum, where you’ll see many interesting Native American artifacts and learn about indigenous tribes. Or take a walking tour led by the Lewes Historical Society to see which takes you by all the historical homes in town.
You Won’t Be Bored
Areas activities include the Mile Long Boardwalk, plenty of parks, water and nature cruises, and shuttle tours of the town. One of the most popular adventures is to go to Fisherman’s Wharf for a little dolphin and whale-watching. Many people visiting Rehoboth visit the center of town for some of the best antique shops on the eastern seaboard as well.
