Morro Bay is one attraction you might not want to miss due to Morro Rock and the surrounding bay. With a short drive from most Los Osos villas, guests can reach Morro Rock, a 576-foot volcanic plug. Up until 1969, the rock was quarried for its important minerals but local residents sought to preserve what remained in order to save the peregrine falcon that resides on the rock.
