The description of the listing was just as described and the property was clean and well maintained. Any and everything you needed as far as cook wear, utensils, coffee maker, cake pan, plastic food storage for leftovers you name it, it was available. Laurence, the house manager was wonderful. He met us onsite at the car rental company and took us directly to the house which wasn’t far at all. He was just a phone call away and very tentative. A cell phone was available to use at the house (you can go to any store and purchases a digicell card with however many minutes you may need) which was a plus. The private pool was also a plus as we like to work out on a daily basis and since we didn’t have a gym to go to we did water aerobics. Beach accessories such as chairs, snorkeling equipment and a cooler were also available for us to use which came in handy. Don’t get hustled at the beach. We were charged $15/person to sit under a hut but come to find out it was actually free. I would definitely recommend this property however just note that the one bedroom that does not have AC can get kind of warm but there was a fan available that we used in the room. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Julie, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She answered all my questions/emails in a timely manner. Aruba is said to be the happy island and it in fact lives up to its name. Everyone was super friendly and never hesitated to assist you. I would recommend getting a rental car and visiting a lot of the attractions yourself. Many sites are free and you can save a lot of money this way. However I would recommend doing an ATV tour. Also go to the Caribbean festival that they have every Thursday it is about a 20 minute drive from the house but well worth it. I never once felt afraid in Aruba and we were out after midnight sometimes. If you are contemplating coming to Aruba go ahead and book your trip you will not be disappointed.
