This apartment is well laid out and seems larger than it is. There is a good amount of storage, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen large enough to prepare great meals. There is a clothes washer and dishwasher to make life a little easier. However, the "dryer" that is listed is a laundry rack, not an electric clothes dryer so it does take a day to get clothes dry. The bathroom is good sized and has an enclosed shower. One of the biggest pluses is that there are three large windows which make the apartment bright and airy. The only downside we found is that, being an old building, the drainage for the sinks and shower are a bit slow...but this isn't a big deal.
The location is ideal for those that want to get a taste of real Parisian life. There is an excellent Bio boulangerie (bakery) at the end of the block (and quite a few others in the immediate area). Rue Mouffetard is just a couple minutes stroll away with all the shops you need for cheese, veggies, wine, meat, chicken, gourmet items, prepared foods, etc. as well as dozens and dozens of restaurants. The apartment is also close to the metro so if you don't feel like walking it is simple to get to the heart of Paris in just a few stops.
Dina, the concierge is wonderful, friendly and helpful. Cecile was excellent at communicating to arrange and then re-arrange our dates (we added a day at the end as the apartment was not rented for that day).
We stayed 10 days here and could easily have stayed longer!!!
