From the moment you enter the Penthouse you are taken away by the beautiful views of the ocean which command attention from the living room. Whether you are sitting on the sofa, dinning table or the balcony, you get lost in the beauty of the infinite ocean views. The Penthouse is large, with very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. It is only 2 years old so all amenities are new. There are a number of swimming pools in the resort, one of them right on the building. They recently completed a brand new playground for children directly in front of the building, just a walk away from the main lobby; excellent for children. I was delighted to see they were also building a new sports center for additional activities and camps. The Master Bedroom has full views of the beach and the ocean. I truly enjoyed having my first cup of coffee restfully looking out the large windows facing the water. Sitting in the balcony was the perfect ending to every day. The sunsets alone were worth the stay! The property has access to an incredible golf course. We truly enjoyed hanging out by the infinity pool and taking strolls by the beach. The ocean water is actually warm yet refreshing! Our children enjoyed swimming in both the ocean and the pools, collecting shells on the beach and playing in the pool playground. They had a new restaurant during our visit with excellent food and wine selections. It was wonderful being in a place where everything was so accessible. The weather was perfect, never a drop of rain. We later found out that this resort is in a "dry belt" where it seldom rains, as opposed to other beach resorts only 20 minutes away where you will get rainstorms similar to Panama City. The staff in the building were always very helpful. When we came in unloading suitcases, they were there eager to help us bring them upstairs. Same when we came with groceries. We were also able to visit the rainforest in El Valle, which was relatively short drive (about 35 minutes) from Bijao. There, we were able to do the Canopy Tour (zip-lining through the rain forest and its waterfalls!). We enjoyed a spectacular meal at Casa de Lourdes, a place not to be missed. The Penthouse was extremely clean and equipped with everything we needed (even some pack-and-plays for our baby!). Being the only unit on the top floor we enjoyed a very quiet and relaxing stay. I can honestly say this was one of the best properties I have visited in Panama.
