We have stayed in Florida several times but this was our first visit to Bradenton.
The villa was very nice, lots of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was great and was a big hit with the children, unfortunately the spa didn't work, we contacted the management office but nothing was done, it didn't bother us too much as the pool was the main interest. Also had a problem with the tv in the main room, no signal for five out of seven days, rang the office and a nice lady told my husband what to do, it still didn't work but in the end we decided not to worry about it as we didn't use the tv much anyway but it would have been nice if someone came to sort out these issues without us having to make a fuss first. other than that the facilities were very good. We were a little disapointed that you had to pay extra to use the playstation, things like that are usually included- we didn't bother but with three children, no tv and no playstation it could have been a problem if the weather was bad and we couldn't use the pool. However the saving grace for my teenagers was that the villa had free wi-fi so they could stay in touch with their friends, it was also very hand to be able to look up address's etc
The area was very friendly and felt safe, lots of things to do nearby, the beaches were fantastic but most of all I would recommend that visitors go to Yoders Amish Village in Sarasota for amazing food and a great gift shop!
