The condo had was a great fit for us and you can't be more centrally located on the North Shore.
Within walking distance to Hookipa Beach Park for the happy hour sunset watching the windsurfers and surfers (and even the occasional whales jumping in the distance!), our favorite to unwind after a day of adventures.
It also has one of Maui's arguably best fish/seafood restaurant litterally in the backyard - if anything their mai-tais, the ambiance and the view from their bar is second to none. It's also 2 minutes away from Paia town and all of its local flavor restaurants and the coolest local/organic/eclectic grocery store on the island - we love Mana!
The condo is not ostentatious and is a no-frills accomodation, then again, it had everything we needed at only a fraction of the price of the deluxe hotels of the south and west side.
There is no pool, but the ocean is nearby and if you know where to look or care to explore a little, there are a few very interesting and secluded beaches nearby.
Hearing the breaking waves was a soothing background music at night during the big winter swells.
The condo came with courtesy snorkeling sets and boogie boards, a thoughtful idea that saved us having to travel with ours or needing to rent/buy.
For the adventure-seekers and those who like to immerse themselves with the local flavor instead of being just another tourist (read: number!) at one of the big box hotels.
