This apartment is large, comfortable, and very well equipped. The decor is stylish and fun, and the kitchen had plenty of equipment and supplies for us to make family meals. There were also lots of guidebooks and maps for us to use. The bedrooms were a little small, but we were happy to have the extra space in the living areas. Everything in the apartment was clean and modern.
These apartments are in a courtyard behind a larger apartment building that faces the street. The street is busy, but we heard very little noise from it. The neighborhood itself is bland and residential, with some restaurants and shops. Two bus lines stop nearby, but we mostly preferred to take the U-Bahn, which is a 10-15 minute walk. Near that stop are some nicer restaurants and a very large supermarket. Unfortunately, the nearest U-bahn line doesn't go to many tourist destinations (except the zoo). Berlin is a sprawling city, and most places we wanted to go were 20-30 minutes away and required a transfer or two. One exception is the main train station, which is short bus ride away.
We enjoyed our stay here very much and are happy to recommend this apartment.
