Our family reunion was a great success mostly because of your beautiful house and its great location and wonderful view. We had about 30 at the reunion with about 16 staying at the house either one or two nights from ages 6 months to almost 70. On Friday evening we had a great time with all 30 present with a cookout at the pavilion close by which had a putt-putt course, playground, and plenty of room for some touch football by some of the younger cousins. The age range was from 6 months to 80 and we stayed until dark. Pavilion had lights, a very good grill, and clean restrooms.
Some of our group stayed in condo which they had a timeshare arrangement and one family stayed at a RV site close by.
We all met for lunch on Saturday at the house with a lot of cooking (the double oven was a great help), ate a lot of food, watched the Razorback game (should have won), kids played a lot of pool and ping pong with some serious tournament action including some of the adults. Younger cousins really enjoyed playing with each other downstairs and watching some movies.
Part of our group managed to work in sometime on the lake with a pontoon boat and had a great time. The water was still in the 80's.
We ate leftovers for supper and had several hours of visiting and catching up with some who we had not seen for years or not seen at all. The women really enjoyed holding and playing with the two baby cousins in the relaxing chairs. We had relatives from New York, Florida, Oklahoma, DeQueen, Springdale, and Searcy.
Of course the view from the deck topped off the whole weekend both in the day and at night. I could see the Big Dipper and watched the beautiful sunrise each morning from the deck.
Everything was very close by including tennis courts, golf courses, a nice grocery store and the house had everything needed with and ice maker, double oven , plenty of bathrooms , etc.
I can' say enough good things about the house and would give it a 6 star rating if I could. Can't wait to stay again!
