This was my first time at Jackson Gore, and Okemo, and this condo didn't disappoint! After parking our car in the heated garage and taking the elevator up to the 2nd floor, I opened the condo door to a tiled mudroom area, which has many hooks for hanging coats/ bibs, a bench to sit down and take off/put on boots, as well as trays to put boots in (NOTE: no shoes in the condo) While in the mudroom - to the left is a 1 bedroom suite - Very private includes a master bath, Kind Bed and sitting area with TV. To your right is a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchen, dining and living area. The condo is clean, shows little wear and the kitchen has most of the basics, including a slow cooker, coffee maker and filtered water dispenser on the fridge. Also, daily maid service is included, which was such a treat. Walk out the door of the condo, and to your immediate left, there is a flight of stairs that will take you outside to lockers, where you can keep your skis and pole (just bring a lock). Pop your skis on and ski down the the base - Or there is also a path, you can walk down. Once at Jackson Gore, there is little need for a car - you can walk or ski down to the Jackson gore base area, to eat, or use the facilities at the spring house (exercise equipment, pool, sauna). Also at the Jackson Gore base, and walkable, is the mountain coaster, and Tubing. Great stay, would stay again, and have already recommended to friends. Owner is very responsive. If you are going to venture out, we had a great lunch at the Loft, which is over by the main Okemo base - great local draft beers, French onion soup, and wings. Has a kids menu too! Things to note: unit has is owns washer and dryer, just bring detergent, for us, it would have been helpful to have door stoppers to help keep the doors open between the one bedroom until and 2 bedroom unit. There is also a business center on this floor, with computers and a printer.
