Beautiful home Beautiful area

My family of 10 with 6 adults and 4 grandchildren ages 13 thru 21 months really enjoyed this property and our 2 week stay. It is just as pictured. We could not have been more pleased. The area was wonderful for early morning walks. The guys took advantage of the golf and loved it.

As far as amenities, there is a large refrigerated which accommodated all our different tastes and food needs. There was a high chair and a pack and play there for the baby to use which was very helpful. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. The pool was great and we all enjoyed our time together. There was enough room to be together and yet enough room to space out for quite time alone. The office is available and came in handy for my son in law to check on work.

Located not far from the home was the main road which had anything and everything you could want for from restaurants to shopping. The beaches were not more than maybe 20 min ride. We loved it and would recommend this rental!

Beautiful home in great location!

  • 5 of 5
We just returned from staying in this beautiful home. Since there was only one review prior to our stay we were a little concerned. Here are a few of the questions that we had prior to our stay.

1. The house. Very large house situated in a beautiful neighborhood. The listing was perfectly accurate and the house was clean. Jennifer was very helpful throughout the process and even sent over the pool guy to help with the heater (on/off switch is in a box opposite the heater - not shown in photos of how to operate heater in house instructions). The master bedroom is at one end of the house and the other three bedrooms at the other end with the kitchen/dining room in the middle. There is one portable crib (pack 'n play) in a bedroom closet. There is also a high chair. There are several nice decorations about the house that we were afraid our children may play with and break so when we arrived we put these out of reach. The house has an office with a computer/printer for use. There is also wifi internet throughout the house. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet where our twins slept in pack-n-plays.

2. The pool. The pool is heated (has heater available to turn on). Our week in January was unseasonably cold (2 days with highs of 50 and lows of 30's) so the heater had some trouble keeping up. The pool did get warm enough to swim by our third day. The spa next to the pool took about 3 hours to heat to a nice temperature so we "swam" in this the first two days. In the pool area there is also a barbecue and tables for outside eating which was great on the warmer days. The pool does not really have a "shallow" end. At the one end it is about 4 feet and at the deep end about 6 feet deep. It was just right for our girls (4 and 6). We were a little nervous since three of our four children can't swim but they did just great with floaties (and direct supervision). There are several sliding glass doors leading to the pool which tightly latch and were too heavy to be easily slid open by our small children.

3. Location. Great! Close to many restaurants. About 15-20 minutes from Lido beach (which was also really nice) for families (water was too cold to swim in January obviously but was great to collect sea shells and make sand castles). We flew into Tampa which was about an hour away. Sarasota does have an airport serving a few cities.

We would definitely recommend HIGHLY!

Tips for writing reviews - what to include:

  • What did you most enjoy about your stay?
  • Would you come back again or recommend this home to a friend?
  • Was the property a good fit for the group you were traveling with?
  • What nearby activities, attractions, or restaurants did you enjoy?
  • What did the owner or property manager do to provide great customer service?
