Great 6 Bedroom House Loved the Ping Pong

  • 5 of 5
I stayed at this house with my mom, sisters, niece, nephew and partners for a week We had so much fun just being together and attending my son's wedding in Asheviile. House was nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owners were very easy to work with and accommodating. The supermarket was close by and the town is within walking distance, it's a good walk. We would go back again and had so much fun playing Ping Pong!

Birthday Weekend Retreat

  • 5 of 5
My fiancé and I reserved this cabin for the weekend of my 23rd birthday, and we invited 8 of our friends to come along (age group between 22-30). It is centrally located between downtown Asheville and the Wolf Ridge Ski Resort where we planned our weekend activities. The house was in a great location (tucked away, and tricky to find without detailed directions!) and had many great amenities to accommodate our stay. There were plenty of bedrooms which in fact is what drove us to choose this place, as there was plenty of privacy for the guests. The only minor issue that I had with the house was that the advertised 6th bedroom had an open floor plan on one side which it shared with the living room on the bottom floor. This would be great for kids, who may not need privacy. It was not a huge issue as we had someone willing to use the room anyways, I just think that it should have been advertised as such. The bottom floor is by far the best feature of the house, as there was a ping pong table where the boys spent most of their time while the girls sat around the fireplace, watching and talking. Also, I would have loved to have spent more time on the porch swing or rocking chairs on the deck, which was another wonderful, relaxing feature. It was a lovely cabin for the weekend and I was almost sad to leave! The owners of the cabin are extremely nice, and seemed to be wonderful people. They do allow pets conditionally, and had no problem with the two canines that we brought along (who also enjoyed the scenery, and the creek). It is a very versatile location that would be suitable for individuals of all ages. Not to mention that the sights and attractions that the surrounding area has to offer are endless! I would absolutely consider renting this place again if we ever return to Asheville!
