We've been coming to Panama City Beach for nearly 15 years and have stayed at many of the big name condos along the beach. Bonita Beach #8 is definitely at the top of our list. It's more like a home away from home. It's not your typical condo with generic beach themes throughout. It is clear that the owners put a lot of money into updating this unit. Examples include the hardwood floors, updated kitchen, and master bathroom that rivals many of the resorts we've visited in Mexico. Not only does this condo have 3 bedrooms, but also 3 bathrooms so you're not fighting with other guests when it's time to clean up for dinner. Another advantage to this condo is its proximity to the beach. You're on the first floor and literally 100 yards from the water. This was really helpful for us as we had an 8 month old baby in our group. We could go in and out as often as we needed. At some of the other resorts we've stayed, you would have to walk through the pool area and wait for elevators before making it to your room on the 20th floor. Yet another advantage was the parking. Unlike many of the condos along the beach, you can park right outside your door. You don't have to wait for elevators or drive through 5 floors of a parking garage which was very convenient. Because this condo is on the west end of the beach and off the main strip, we found it far less crowded than many of the other places we stayed. However, you are within minutes of Pier Park and other attractions. You also have quick access to 98 if you want to bypass Pier Park traffic. The only semi-negative thing we can say about this condo is the pool. The pool is fairly small and is located on the roadside of the condo with no walkways heading to the beach. It can get quite noisy and guests have to walk through the condo to get to the pool. With that being said, we came to Panama City for the beach, not the pool. If we wanted to vacation at the pool, we could have stayed in Kentucky. We very much enjoyed our vacation at Bonita Beach #8 and will definitely be returning in years to come.
