We saw the picture of this house online and knew this was the house for us! We go to “DA RIVAH"! every year. We get a couple families to go with us and share the cost. After the first year, we had such an amazing time, we didn't think twice about renting this house again, lol and AGAIN! And guess what? We will be renting it again next year!!!
One of the first things you notice when you walk in the door is how cozy and welcoming it is. Everyone who came with us has literally said the exact same thing! The interior of the house is so beautiful and well cared for. 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a roomy kitchen and dining area that overlooks the river! Then, there is a HUGE family room, all windows looking out at the river! All the kids that come with us bunk on the floor in the family room, so the adults can each have a bedroom. At night, the kids play games, Reverse Charades, Cranium, Catchphrase, Quelff, you name it! The laughter and fun is contagious! The views are the best on the river. The deck, which was not covered the first year we went, now has a beautiful awning, so now there is more shade. Plenty of lawn chairs available along with a cool hammock. The dock is long and has a "T" shape at the end of it. Perfect for setting a few chairs and watching the boats go by. Plenty of area to tie up your toys (Jet skis, a boat...) We even bring a "relaxation station float" every year to lounge in the water. The kitchen has all the comforts of home, coffee maker, blender, crockpot! Beautiful dishes, flatware, cups, mugs... The bathrooms have bath towels, cloths, hand towels. It really is by far the most beautiful house on DA RIVAH! The house is right btwn the RoadRunner upriver (we eat breakfast there every day!) and the casino dowriver. We make a DVD of our trip every year and get to relive those great times all year until its time for our RIVAH TRIP so we can make all new memories. For my family and friends, this house will be our River Destination for many years to come! We book our trip almost a year in advance to get the dates we want. I tried to come up with a "downside" or negative, and I asked everyone in my family, and guess what? NONE of us could think of a single thing that we could say bad about this house. The cost is $600.00/night, so we always plan to have 1 or 2 families join us to help with the cost. But it is worth every penny!!! We are already looking forward to next year at the Leek House on DA RIVAH!
