We spent a wonderful 10 days in the cottage and exploring the beautiful island beyond. The place was spotless and contained everything we needed to make our vacation perfect -- from cookware to coolers to guidebooks and an outdoor charcoal grill. All exactly as advertised. The cottage is located in a quiet part of this quiet island, with both sunrises and sunsets visible from the oceanside deck. Neighbors are just on one side, and they were there just one evening. As others have noted, swimming directly in front of the cottage isn't the easiest, due to shallow water and a lot of spiny sea urchins. Wear sneakers or watershoes and there'll be no problem. Walk a few steps to the left and entry is a lot easier. We spent nearly all our time snorkeling at a dozen or so spots up and down the shore, where entry and exit are especially easy thanks to ladder-equipped carve-outs in the rock. Plenty to see in the water, too, and each site seemed to offer something different. We went twice to the sandy public beach on the opposite side of the island and we had the place to ourselves both times. Most of the time we were happy to eat in, though we also hit some of the local restaurants plus one of the island's two resorts. Very friendly people everywhere. I guarantee we'll be back!
