My group had a great time catching up in this mountain house. The view and quality of the house was very nice. I would definitely look at renting again since it was a good price for what you're getting once you're able to reach the house and the owners were pretty responsive and honest.
Recommendations for future guests: First, there was literally not a single thing wrong with the house at all. I felt like this is worth noting. The road is definitely about 3 miles of gravel road up a mountain. If you stay on the gravel, you shouldn't have a problem. I drove a 2 door Honda Accord up it twice with front wheel drive only, but I have some experience driving up gravel hills. There is space in the driveway for about 4 cars if you squeeze them in btw. Some of my friends tried to go up some dirt, non-gravel roads somewhere on that mountain when they were lost trying to find the house. DO NOT DO THAT. Not sure where they were on the mountain, but it was definitely a road not meant to be driven on (almost got a 4 wheel drive SUV stuck). Luckily they gave up and assumed it wasn't the correct way and backed up (the path forks about 2-3 times before you get up to the house, but my GPS was pretty accurate up to the final fork like .8 miles away). Not a large complaint once you get there and settled in, but I could see people having trouble with it. We went during a beautiful 70 degree day, so no big deal for us and would deal with it again. It probably would've been pretty stressful if it was raining or something and trying to navigate it, though.
