We traveled to Sardinia with another family. We stayed in house 4 while our 2nd family stayed in house 3. House 4 was spacious, well-designed, and complete with everything we could possibly ask for or need. It was a well-designed space with a well-equipped kitchen. Our kids adored the loft and enjoyed staying there. We made use of the kitchen several times and had pleasant, outdoor meals in the covered terrace between both houses. The size of the dining area outdoors was perfect for our 2 families. The only piece of equipment that did not work very well for us was the vent above the stove, which did not seem to capture exhaust very well, but opening the windows for a period of time fixed this, and really the design, completeness, and details of the house well made up for this one thing.
Borgo Lianti has a lot of other special touches that really made our stay memorable. The property has a beautiful view overlooking the sea, the hill side was great for kids to run around and play in, and the hammocks outside made for some relaxing down time, reading in the shade. There is also a vegetable garden and little tree house on the property. Maria (the owner) graciously gave us vegetables from her garden, which we used in the meals we cooked. We were constantly greeted by her very friendly 2 dogs and cat, which our children delighted in. We appreciated having a kitchen stocked with some staples - pasta, rice, oil, spices, coffee - and even some home-made tomato sauce from Maria.
We highly recommend Borgo Lianti for any family, couple, or group of people who want a relaxing setting away from it all, yet with a convenient short drive from several places (including Palau, Santa Teresa, and several lovely beaches). Maria has a wonderful sense of design and attention to detail. The setting is just lovely, and we will gladly return again.
