THe best part of the whole house was the massive covered patio with the beach view. The beach area in back of the house was private even when the crowds were all over the beach, our area was private. The house was stocked with pots and pans but not much else. No toiletries, paper products, cleaning items, detergent, trash bags, NOTHING. So we spent a small fortune at the local Wal-Mart. The house deor. and applicances were dated. The internet did not work the whole week we were there. THe agency did come everytime we called and tried to accomdate us. The traffic was a huge issue, so we tried to spend most of our time at the house and limit our trips out. The outlet mall was fun and we enjoyed the COACH outlet the most. But it was about a 45 min. drive. The weather was windy and we had red flags all week so we had to be very careful in the water. Had to get help from a lifeguard once due to rip currents. We recommend the oweners build a walkway to the beach. Walking over the sand dume was hard on my mother and father. Even such a short distance is difficult in the sand. We enjoyed Dewey Destin, FLoyds, Donut Hole, JOhnny Rockets. The house was ready early which was a pleasant surprise. We recommend driving into Florida very early in the morning and leaving Florida early due to traffic. The Gulfarium was a blast. The animal encounters were well worth the extra money. We fell into a tourist trap on the snorkeling. We paid 30.00 each to be taken to the public beach just the west of the house. We felt really silly when we realized how close we were to the house. The sunset dolphin cruise was worth the money. THe jet skis were very scary and felt like we were left alone in the ocean. If you take a fishing tour only go in the morning. We went in the afternoon and caught very little (no keepers).
