We have enjoyed a delightful 6 week stay here in this charming little house. The furnishings are attractive, comfortable, and complete. The yard offered us different flowers from week to week, enough to allow us to continually fill a small vase with colorful blooms. We also had the treat of picking raspberries for our morning cereal as they ripened throughout our visit here.
My husband particularly enjoyed relaxing on the lawn
area at the nearby Tyler Lake, just about 100 steps from our driveway. He ventured into the refreshing water on many of the hot days. (Fortunately we keep some beach chairs in our car when we travel, though I am sure the owner of the house would have found us some if we had asked.) We met some pleasant neighbors there and made some new friends.
Cooking, cleaning, and laundry seemed to get done in a flash, much more quickly and easily than they do back home! That left me lots of time for my favorite pastimes, which were just plain old relaxing, visiting some of the lovely towns in the area, working a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle, and reading. The Goshen librarians were extremely helpful in fulfilling my requests for books I had been wanting to catch up on during the summer.
Our dog, Muffin, enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and the opportunity to lay out in the sunshine on the deck of the house.
Tanglewood Music Festival, only an hour away, was the major attraction for us in this area. We attended several excellent classical music concerts.
The owner of the house, Bob, was extremely pleasant to deal with and most helpful when we had any questions.
We would recommend this lovely house to anyone and everyone and we hope to be able to return in the future.
