The villa was exactly as pictured in this listing and it is awesome! Our late arrival was cheerfully accommodated by Rob and his staff, which was a huge relief from the unpleasant experiences at the airports. There were even some complimentary cold drinks and snacks for us in the kitchen! Our first morning, we were greeted by a pair of wild parrots (loras ?) who sat on the wooden railing and chattered for about 10 minutes. A bit later we noticed the iguanas walking around the property (they are all over the island). It is a short drive to town (5 mins) and we had no neighbors (very quiet). The reef just off-shore is as good as any other dive spot on the west side (we never dove on east side), and is often visited by the boat dive trips. There is a marked rock to indicate a reasonably safe entry to the water, then a 50-yard swim straight out and the reef starts to drop off from about 20' down to 90'. I believe this spot is labelled "Andrea II" on the Bonaire dive maps.
We spent quite a few daylight hours around the private pool, enjoying the wildlife and did several dives where we donned our gear on our own patio then walked down to the water (so convenient!). The kitchen was well equipped and even had necessities like spices. The rooms were comfortable and the master is gorgeous with view of the ocean and access to the pool deck. BBQ was stocked with briquettes, lighter fluid, and matches. Paradise Rentals thought of everything!
As the organizer of this trip, I was complimented on my selection numerous times by others in my party. It was hard to leave this place after only 1 week.
