Even better than hoped for!

Our stay was great! The home is comfortable and well equipped. The location is convenient for walking or accessing the metro from Union Station.
The owner, Alec, was pleasant and responded to all communications/questions with a quick response and detailed answer.
We highly recommend this property that worked well for a couple, but is also suitable for a family.

This house suited our needs perfectly for a 5 day family visit to DC (2 adults, 2 teens). It was clean, comfortable and centrally located. The location was excellent; Union Stn. really is only about 10 mins. walk if that making it very easy to use Metrorail to get around DC. There is a large supermarket about 10 mins. walk in another direction. Our plan to 'lunch out' at the museums and 'dinner in' worked well giving us time to relax in the evenings after walking most of the day. The kitchen has all the tools to make simple pre-packaged meals or more involved meals. Alec, the owner, provided well organized and useful information which helped us maximize our time in DC; we used many of his suggestions (fresh pasta from Eastern Market, burgers from Good Stuff Eatery). Staying in such ideal accommodations enriched our stay in Washington DC.
