BEST PLACE IN HUALTULCO ,MEXICO!!!!

  • 5 of 5
This is a great place! Best scenic place around very private and clean. Can't beat the beautiful view. Not only does it have the best view in town, but the staff is WONDERFUL! Araceli the cook is GREAT and her dishes are the best ! She was our guide and tour corrdinator too. There is also Raymundo the care taker of the premises, It was nice to have someone a call away to help in case of general questions about the area or location that you may want to see or visit. (Speaking from experience lol) He's a call away but you would never know he was around. Overall my experience at Villa Azomalli was great , cant't wait to go back.

Everything You Could Want in a Vacation

  • 5 of 5
For the last six years I have watched a show on PBS called "Mexico One Plate at a Time" featuring Chicago chef, Rick Bayless. Each season features different regions of Mexico and the varied cuisines that each region offers. Last season the show was centered in Oaxaca and the diversity of the terrain, the culture and the eclectic cuisine compelled me to book a trip. I have been on many trips to Mexico, east and west, and this is my favorite destination. The crystal blue water and rugged rock formations jutting from the Pacific coupled with isolated, pristine beaches will dazzle your senses. How has this place remained such a secret? The open air villa at Residenciales Conejos was absolutely breathtaking, high on a cliff, with the Pacific in front and the Sierra Madres in the back. This place comes staffed with people whose sole mission is to give you the best vacation experience possible. Feel like a massage? A phone call away. Want a good workout? The spa is a short walk with free weights, cardio equipment, steam room, all of which are built on a cliff above the beach. If you want to go fishing you can cheaply charter a small boat and fish for dorado, mackeral, and snook or you can step it up for Marlin fishing just a few miles off shore. Food? I informed the staff upon my arrival that I wanted nothing but local cuisine. Each meal was worthy of the Food Network. While I thoroughly enjoyed the local restaurants, frankly, I hated to miss a meal at the villa. I can't wait to come back
