My wife and I stayed in this lovely home for a week. Everything was just as advertised, everything we used worked and everything was in good repair. The house was clean and neat and obviously well loved by the owners. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Easy walking distance to the grocery store, the small shops of downtown Kanab and great location for day trips to visit Bryce, Zion, Grand Staircase, Kodachrome and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon as well as other parks and attractions in the area.
We were very comfortable using the upstairs room - this gave us the best view of sunrise, which was stunning each morning. We loved the dining room and living room downstairs and used the laundry facilities in the basement. It was incredibly cozy and a superb value at the price charged. For our personal enjoyment, a flock of wild turkeys came through the yard each day around 8:30 a.m. They, like the neighbors, were very quiet. The street was incredibly dark at night (make sure you know where you are going if you drive in at night from an unusual direction!), and there was only a very small amount of vehicular traffic on the street, which connects directly into Route 89 for accessibility to the parks. The owners were very helpful and accommodating with our reservations, and the instructions for use of various things (laundry, television, garbage day, etc.) were very clear. This is a property in a location that we would revisit, and we hardly ever go back to the same place twice. Kudos to the owners for making their family heirloom property available for us to enjoy. A top flight rental
